VB96™ Vacuum Bonded
Wear-Con VB96™ Vacuum-Bonded Ceramic Wear Tiles are very thin highalumina oxide content tiles attached to the impact surface with a vacuum bond – the strongest attachment method available. Due to this strong bond, VB96™ can be used in moderate impact areas which would otherwise be inappropriate for ceramic.

Wear-Con VB96™ has a hardness of 9 on Moh’s Scale, providing impact resistance in working temperatures as high as 275°F in dynamic applications, and up to 400°F in static applications, a tensile strength of 6,000 psi, and shear strengths at 4,000 psi and 24,000 psi.
