Installation

Wear-Con Speed-Steel Repair Stick™ is quick and easy to install. Just cut, roll, knead and apply (see diagrams at left). It’s that simple! Speed-Steel Repair Stick™ is workable for up to 3 minutes, and will cure completely in 10 minutes - even fully submerged in water.

Wear-Con Speed-Steel Repair Stick™ can be used in applications with surface temperatures up to 150°F. Speed-Steel Repair Stick™ is certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 61 for use in commercial and residential potable water systems up to 180°F.

Features & Benefits

Wear-Concepts' Fortify™ a three-component, trowelable or pourable epoxy polymer concrete used for the fortification of chemical resistant floors, pads, curbing, trenches and sumps. Fortify™ is well suited for the fortification of floors, pads, trenches, and other structures requiring resistance to acids, bleaches, alkalis, solvents and other corrosive chemicals. Fortify™ exhibits superior resistance to many acids including 50% sulfuric, 37% hydrochloric, phosphoric acid, as well as caustic solutions, hypochlorite bleaches and other chemicals. The material exhibits excellent bond strength to concrete and physical properties at least three times that of standard concrete. Fortify™ is suitable for use in areas exposed to heavy traffic and abuse.

Installation

Wear-Concepts’ Fortify™ is placed by casting into forms, or by screeding into place as an overlay on floor slabs and concrete pads. Fortify™ flows well into forms and is easily screeded into place for overlay applications and finished immediately with steel finishing trowel. Fortify™ cures rapidly, offering a quick turnaround with minimal downtime for maintenance and new construction applications. A 40-lb multi-pack unit will fill .33 cubic feet. Coverage is as follows: 1” thick will cover 4 square feet, 1/2” thick will cover 8 square feet, and 1/4” thick will cover 16 square feet. For a more pourable product reduce the amount of aggregate added to suit your needs.

Wear-Con Premium Silicone is easy to install either by hand or using a caulking gun. To insure product integrity of unused portions, cut high on nozzle and replace cap after use.
