Wear-Con DiamondClad™ Cross Grid Chrome Carbide Wear Plate is a unique chrome carbide, 3/8” wide, 1” x 1” cross grid overlay on a mild steel base plate. DiamondClad™ is designed for areas with moderate impact and medium abrasion. DiamondClad™ can be formed, rolled, and cut to your specific needs.

Installation
Wear-Con DiamondClad™ can be welded into place with a low hydrogen rod such as AWS spec. 7018 on the base metal. The cover pass at the overlay section should be 60 HRc Hardsurface Rod (i.e. Wear-Con VP 100)
Technical Specifications
Wear-Con DiamondClad™ Wear Plate provides medium abrasion resistance with hardness from 58HRc, along with the ability to withstand temperatures up to 572°F. As raw material packs inside the weave a rock-box effect occures, thus providing greater wear life.
