By having one of Wear-Concepts Field Service Crews out to install WC90™ Ceramic Wear Tiles, you’ll be provided with the ultimate wear resistance for your most abrasive applications. Lasting at least 10 times longer than mild steel, WC90™Tiles increase production time by decreasing downtime. Wear-Con WC90™Tiles are installed by our Field Service Crews by means of welding, bolting, or securing with Wear-Con Premium Silicone, Cerami-Bond™ Tile Adhesive, or mortar. Depending on which tiles we install, they can provide resistance to wear in working temperatures as high as 1100°F. Wear-Con Field Services can install an array of standard and custom sizes, shapes, and thicknesses of WC90™ Tiles to fit your wear needs. We have you covered!
Wear-Concepts is the exclusive distributor of Densit® in the western hemisphere. Our Field Service Crews can install Densit® in your plant with exceptional results. Wear-Con Densit® WearFlex™ and WearSpray Chemically Bonded Corundum-Ceramic wear resistant lining is a trowellable, one-component ready-mix wear compound combined with wear-resistant aggregates to provide a tough and long-lasting wear solution. WearFlex™ and WearSpray™ is applied by our Field Crews directly to an anchoring mesh in a variety of thicknesses to suit your needs, providing seamless graduation in lining thicknesses on almost any shape without vulnerable joints. Once our Field Crew is finished WearFlex™ or WearSpray™ can be used after just 24 hours of installation.
Wear-Con Field Service Crews also install SHC800™ Wear Panels. The panels are cast from a preparatory blend of alloys with a hardness of 55 to 58 HRc and come in an array of sizes and thicknesses to fit your wear needs. SHC800™ Wear Panels are unsurpassed in abrasion, erosion, and corrosion resistance. Wear-Con SHC800™ are installed by Field Service Crews by bolting with Wear-Con Plow Bolts through the counter-sunk holes or plug welded with 309 - 310 Stainless Steel Rod. Wear-Con SHC800™ Panels provide maximum abrasion and impact resistance along with the ability to withstand temperatures up to 900°F. Once we install SHC800™ Panels, they will outlast alloy plate and perform to abrasion standards similar to ceramics. Have a Wear-Con Field Service Crew put the Blue to work for you.
Our Field Service Crews have a slick solution for sticky problems, Wear-Con’s Industrial-Grade PGP190™ Black, PGP100™ White or PGP188™ Blue UHMW Polymer. They are a natural 100% virgin polymer that provides a lower coefficient of friction than glass along with flatness and thickness tolerance. Produced to provide higher wear and UV resistance, Wear-Con’s UHMW is perfect for applications involving wet, sticky, corrosive, and fine particles; and meets FDA standards for use in food contact applications. Wear-Con’s Field Service Crews install UHMW by securing it with Wear-Con Premium Silicone and/or bolting. UHMW provides 67 Shore D hardness; a 3,400 psi yield strength; tensile strength from 4,000 to 6,000 psi; a maximum service temperature of 180°F; and water absorption rated at ‘nil’. Now that’s SLICK!
Wear-Con WC700Plus™ Chrome Carbide Wear Plate is a unique chromium carbide overlay on a mild steel base plate that can be installed by our Field Service Crews for areas with severe impact and abrasion. WC700Plus™ can be formed, rolled, and cut to your specific needs. We weld WC700Plus™ into place with a low hydrogen rod such as AWS spec. 7018 on the base metal, then we cover-pass at the overlay section with our 60 HRc hard surface VP 100 rod or we can bolt them into place with hard surfaced bolts. With higher chromium carbide content, WC700Plus™ plate provides extreme abrasion resistance with hardness from 60 to 64 HRc, along with the ability to withstand temperatures up to 1000°F. Wear-Con WC700Plus™ is available in an array of sizes and thicknesses for us to install to fit your wear needs.
