Lasting 6 to 8 times longer than mild steel, Wear-Con WC600P™ Induction-Hardened Wear Pipe provides outstanding resistance against moderate to severe abrasive and erosive wear. WC600P™ can be induction-hardened on either the inside or the outside, making it great for use in wide variety of material handling applications. WC600P™ is easy to install, fabricate, or repair in the field, and can be ultrasonically monitored to allow for well timed rotations or replacement.

Installation

Wear-Con WC600P™ pipe can be easily installed by flanging, coupling, or welding.

Technical Specifications

Wear-Con WC600P™ has a gradient hardness. The inner wall hardness is 600 BHN and the outer wall hardness is 250 to 300 BHN (reverse for outer wall induction hardening), along with an unhardened yield strength of 700 ksi (unhardened), and a 100 ksi (unhardened) tensile strength. WC600P™ can be used in applications up to 450°F.

Wear-Con WC600P™ is available in standard and extra-heavy thicknesses, nominal pipe diameters from 2 1/2” to 40”, and lengths from 5’ to 50’.

Wear-Con WC700PPlus™ Chrome Carbide Overlay Wear Pipe provides excellent resistance to severe abrasion erosion and impact. Lasting up to 12 times longer than mild steel pipe WC700PPlus™ can be hardened on either the interior or the exterior making it great for use in wide variety of applications. WC700PPlus™ is easy to install offers lower life cycle costs and can be custom-fabricated to aid pipe design or replacement.

Installation

Wear-Con WC700PPlus™ Pipe can be easily installed by flanging coupling or welding.

Technical Specifications

With higher chromium carbide content Wear-Con WC700PPlus™ Pipe provides extreme abrasion resistance with hardness from 60 to 64 HRc along with the ability to withstand temperatures up to 1000°F.

Features & Benefits

Wear-Con WearBack™ Elbows are reinforced on the backside of the bend to make the elbow last much longer. WearBack™ Elbows are designed to replace elbows with severe impact, abrasion, and material flow issues.

Installation

Wear-Con WearBack™ Elbows can be fitted with fixed or loose flanges or be welded into place with a low hydrogen rod such as AWS spec. 7018 on the base metal.

Wear-Con Wear-Bow™ Wear-Resistant Elbow is aerodynamically designed to reduce material contact along the pipe wall, minimizing product degradation and wear. The patented design of Wear-Bow™ is self-cleaning and forces material to accumulate in the impact zone, serving as a natural wear-resistant barrier.

Installation

Wear-Con Wear-Bow™ can easily be installed by flanging, coupling, or welding.

Technical Specifications

By design, material flowing through the Wear-Con Wear-Bow™ accumulates in the impact zone and moves slowly upward and out. Incoming material is deflected at a 90° angle, with minimum resistance and no impact damage (see video demonstration by clicking here). This revolutionary design extends service life by nearly eliminating the wear to the outer wall inherent in typical elbows. Wear-Bow™ requires a material to air-flow ratio of no less than 3:1.

Sizes

Wear-Bow™ is easily retrofitted into existing systems, replacing both short and long radius elbows. With sizes from 2” to 10” and fitting all flanges and pipe connections in these sizes; both stub-end and flanged-end versions; and castings in iron, stainless steel, and other alloys; Wear-Bow™ can be used in a variety of applications, including areas where space is limited

BarricAid™ WC90™ HexTile Ceramic lined flexible hoses are ideal for use in highly aggressive services where conventional rubber hose, expansion joints, or bellows connections require frequent replacement. Ceramic lined hoses may also be used to isolate mechanical vibration or to connect non-stationary equipment.
